Play Therapy
Play Therapy is one of the most effective and beneficial ways of helping children who experience emotional or behavioural challenges, or who have suffered loss, grief and trauma. Children often find it challenging to express themselves verbally, especially when dealing with complex emotions or unconscious traumatic experiences. Play Therapy provides a non-threatening and natural way for children to communicate and process their feelings through play.

Parent Coaching
Parent Coaching helps caregivers work through relational dynamics that are causing them and their children difficulty. With insight on attachment patterns, and neurobiology, caregivers can better understand their child’s behaviours as well as their own triggers. With greater awareness and self-compassion, caregivers are supported in their journey towards better emotional health. Parents feel better about themselves and can trust in their capacity to make better choices for their children.

Safe & Sound Protocol
ABOUT THE SAFE AND SOUND PROTOCOL (SSP)
Based on years of research by Dr. Stephen Porges and his Polyvagal Theory, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a five-hour therapeutic listening intervention designed to supports the client’s emotional regulation and neuroception (i.e. sense of one’s safety), as well as decrease the client’s auditory sensitivity. The music is designed to stimulate the vagus nerve, which is responsible for calming the nervous system. This allows for enhanced social engagement and resilience in children and adults.
